Had a great birthday yesterday, the 6th. I met my son Scott at Canter's Delicatessen in the Fairfax District of LA for lunch and we celebrated our birthdays together.  Scott's birthday is the 13th so we usually get together and celebrate.

If you've never been to Canter's, you've really missed a treat. My Ruben sandwich was about that size.  They serve it with french fries and the best pickles.  I brought half of the sandwich home for lunch tomorrow.  Mmmmm  Mmmmmm!!!!

 

On the way home, I stopped at Starbucks and got my free birthday frappaccino.  Then went home and took a nap.  Karen took me to an Ontario Reign hockey game that evening where we had stadium hot dogs and sodas.  The Reign even managed to win the game 4-2.  A perfect day.
