Silly Me

I’m often accused of being silly,
Of treating the world all willy-nilly.
But in my defense,
Some things just don’t make sense,
Like the singing of Milli Vanilli.

So what’s so very wrong with being goofy,
It’s not like I slipped you a roofy.
My own view of life,
Causes many great strife,
So join me, we’ll dance the boogie woogie.

I’ve even been told I’m sarcastic,
My humor even thought of as caustic.
Why am I to blame,
If you are so lame,
I think I’m rather fantastic.

I don’t think I’ll change in the long run,
My own view of life is to have fun.
I just have to laugh,
Though you may think I’m daft,
'cause the joke is on me when all's said and done.
