Her Summer Dress

I love you in a summer dress,
Hair windblown, a sultry mess.
With a floppy hat, lace for the trim,
Produces in me a wolfish grin.

With shimmering smile, your face aglow,
Eyes that sparkle, “that look” you know.
I long to kiss you from head to toe,
Pressed in my arms; won’t let you go.

Unbutton each button, your dress reveals,
Lacy secrets meant to appeal.
Heavenly curves soft to the touch,
Your shivering response that tells so much.

With a slip of this and a tug at that,
You stand before me in just your hat.
With shimmering smile, your face aglow,
Eyes that sparkle and say, “let’s go!”
