Just six More
Months
Just six
more months,
How time
does fly.
Then there
we’ll be,
Just you and
I.
Won’t wear a
watch,
Or check on the
date.
Nowhere to
be,
So we can’t
be late.
We’ll sleep until
eight,
Or maybe past
nine.
Watch Price
is Right,
Won’t that
be divine.
We’ll take a
short nap,
Curtains pulled
tight,
Lying like
spoons,
Is such a
delight.
Or seven or nine.
Up to the
wee hours,
With a
bottle of wine.
Just six
more months,
Then there
we’ll be.
Always hand
in hand,
Together you
and me.
