As a follow-up to a post I made yesterday, the murderer of Dr. George Tiller was caught by police within three hours of the murder. I haven't read any statement the killer made as to why he killed the good doctor.

Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry was quick to give his opinion on the murder. Mr. Terry said, "The point that must be emphasized over, and over, and over again: pro-life leaders and the pro-life movement are not responsible for George Tiller's death. George Tiller was a mass-murder and, horrifically, he reaped what he sowed. We grieve for him that he did not have time to properly prepare his soul to face God."

Mr Randall added, ""Those men and women who slaughter the unborn are murderers according to the Law of God. We must continue to expose them in our communities and peacefully protest them at their offices and homes, and yes, even their churches." (According to the Bible, his god slaughtered more babies than Dr. Tiller)

Dr. Tiller faced down decades of harassment, threats and vandalism and went back to work after being shot in both arms by a radical “pro-life” activist in 1993. Just last month his clinic was severely damaged by vandals. Tiller probably suffered more than anyone else in recent decades to defend reproductive rights.

I just find it so sad that someone could be so filled with hate over the abortion debate that he would kill someone. How is the murder of a living breathing adult square with his god?
