Brianna Amat is the first female to play varsity football for Pinckney Community High School, a school of 1400 students, 12 miles east of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Brianna had quite an evening recently when her school played powerful Michigan rival Grand Blanc. With five minutes to play in the third quarter, Brianna kicked what proved to be the winning 31-yard field goal, putting Pinckney Community HS ahead 9-6.

But that wasn't all that occurred that magical evening.  Brianna had to be called from the locker room at half time to be crowned the homecoming queen.  Brianna proudly donned her tiara wearing her football uniform, including shoulder pads.

Brianna plays defense for the girls soccer team, is the treasurer for her senior class, and has a 4.0 grade point average.  How awesome is that??
