This short video encapsulates the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) reasoning by former Florida Democratic Representative Alan Grayson.  The "99%ers" isn't going to be an adequate description soon as the battle lines are finally drawn.  I think the OWS will attract more adherents, such as anti-war folks, pro-choice & gay/lesbian activists, but the conservatives will turn against it.

I got into a discussion with a staunch Republican a couple of weeks ago at a retirement dinner for a former co-worker.  A former co-worker (not the retiree) tells me he has no problem with the U.S. invading Iraq and Afghanistan and the slaughter of millions of innocent men, women, and children because, as he said, "we haven't been attacked since 9/11 have we?"  HUH???

In another discussion with a different Republican, he told me he was all for not taxing the rich because they create jobs and cutting welfare spending, even though his very own sister is receiving welfare.  "Well she made some poor choices in life.  Why should my taxes go to supporting her and her three children."  His own sister!!!!

So, in my opinion, this battle will rage on and sides will be taken.  We had better be in this for the long run.
