Top 10 misconceptions about nudity: http://listverse.com/2011/02/23/top-10-misconceptions-about-nudism/

1. Nudist resorts, events, and beaches are places for sexual activity.

Not true. I have been at a nude beach where a couple got frisky and one of the "locals" walked over and told them nicely that that type of activity wasn't allowed at this beach.

2. Nudism is sexually stimulating.

Not true. Many people who try nudism find themselves surprised at the lack of sexual stimulation.

3. Nudists have attractive bodies.

Not true. Look no further than me. LOL!!! Actually you find men and women at nude beaches of all shapes and sizes, of all ages, and of all colors and creeds.

4. Nudism is for adults only.

Not true. Most nudist resorts, events, and beaches encourage children be brought along. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult however.

5. Nudists remain unclothed all the time.

Not true for obvious reasons.

6. Nudists are perverts, weirdos, and or some other sort of sexual deviate.

Not true. Most nudists are open, understanding, and friendly. Look at me!!!

7. Nudists are asexual.

Not true. Again, look at me!!

8. Nudists have no sense of privacy.

Not true.

9. Nudism is illegal.
True is some jurisdictions in public. Private resorts on private property - no.  In fact, in San Francisco you can walk down the steet nude as long as you aren't being lewd or in a park (go figure) or someplace that serves alcohol.

10. Nudism is new and alien in the history of mankind.

Not true. If you put on a current swim suit and went back 100 years, you would probably be arrested as the original swim suit covered much more. If you went back 200 years, people would probably wonder why you were wearing anything at all.

The link above has more extensive answers to each question. (No nude photos)
