Happy Birthday wishes go out to Mary Lucy Denise "Marilu" Henner who turns 60 years old today. Ms. Henner was born in Chicago, Illinois, the third of six children. Ms. Henner is married to former college classmate Michael Brown.  They have five children from previous marriages.

Ms. Henner was in her third year of college at the University of Chicago - Hyde Park when she got the role of "Marty" in the Broadway hit "Grease" in 1971 with John Travolta.  She has extensive experience on Broadway in such hits as "Over Here", "Pal Joey", Social Security" and "The Tale of the Allergist's Wife." 

Ms. Henner is probably best known for her role as "Elaine" in the TV comedy "Taxi."  She was on Taxi for five years.  She was also in "Cannonball Run II." 

Ms. Henner is also an accomplished writer, having written eight books. In her autobiography, "By All Means, Keep on Moving," Ms. Henner discusses her romances with actors John Travolta, and "Taxi" co-stars Judd Hirsch and Tony Danza.
