This morning the US Supreme Court refused to hear five appeals on same-sex marriage thereby opening the doors for marriage in the states of Wisconsin, Indiana, Virginia, Oklahoma, and Utah. These five states are in three different districts which will eventually have an effect on six more states including Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming. This brings the total of states allowing same-sex marriage to 24 with 6 more states soon to follow.
