Happy Birthday wishes go out to Mary "Marg" Helgenberger who turned 56 years young yesterday. (Sunday the 16th) Marg is divorced from actor Alan Rosenberg and they have one son, Hugh Rosenberg, who is 24 years old.

Marg started out here career as a soap star in the series "Ryan's Hope".  She was the co-star in the series "China Beach" with another of my faves, Dana Delany.  She played K.C. Koloski, a heroin addicted prostitute and civilian volunteer at the hospital.  The series ran for four seasons from 1988 to 1991.

Marg may be best known as "Catherine Willows" in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". Marg has been in that role since 2000 when the series first started and has completed 264 episodes.

I just saw Marg in a rerun of one of her old movies, (1997) "Fire Down Below" with Steven Seagal.
