I took my FJ Cruiser in for a 5,000 mile service on Friday and asked if they would take a look at the battery.  The service writer opened up the hood and discovered that it still had the original battery from Japan.  Not bad for a 2007 model with 148,000 miles on it.  I ended up needing a new one, but I think I got my moneys worth out of the first one.
