Dodger Greed
Steady my
heart, for what do I see,
The Dodgers
team playing on my home TV.
It must be a
mirage, a vision, a dream,
I’m so
excited I just want to scream.
The Dodgers and
Fox control the television feed,
A bunch of greedy bastards addicted to greed,
They don’t
give a damn about the regular fan,
Making every
effort to get all that they can.
They raised ticket
prices on up through the roof,
Eight dollar
hot dogs are surely more proof
That they
could care less about a family of four,
Who can’t
even afford to get through the front door.
So I’ll
enjoy this brief view of the Dodgers today,
And get off
my soap box, I’ve certainly had my say.
I’m just an
old fan of the American past time,
Vowing I won’t
give the Dodgers a dime.
