Ity-Bity Me
I’m often confronted by humanity,
Usually teetering on the edge of calamity.
Profanity.
Perplexed by my own sheer banality,
I petition for a diagnosis of my sanity.
If my life is to be an atrocity,
I’ll embrace my dire future with alacrity,
Profanity.
Overwhelmed by my own sheer capacity,
For the exhibition of blatant mendacity.
I’m branded by my latent venality,
And a tendency for base criminality.
Profanity.
I face life with an edge of audacity,
Peppered with a raging tenacity
If I could I would beg for immunity,
With a sentence to declare my impunity.
Profanity
I face incarceration on a legality,
But escape on a mere technicality.
