By a vote of 228 to 205, the House of Representatives rejected the proposed $700 billion bailout bill of Wall Street. No re-vote of the bill is scheduled for today.
The vote breakdown is as follows:
Democrats: Yea: 140 Nay: 95
Republicans: Yea: 65 Nay: 133
The House is saying the bill may be introduced again later in the week for another vote.
