The long awaited vice presidential candidate debate was held in St. Louis, Missouri. Thursday night. While Sarah Palin didn't have any "deer in the headlight" moments, I thought it was more of the same. She danced around several questions and at one point told the moderator she probably wasn't going to answer a question, or answer as the moderator would like.

Joe Biden seemed to come off as experienced, polite, knowledgeable, and tolerant of Sarah Palin's lack of knowledge. He pressed his message against John McCain and President Bush instead of attacking Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin in turn attacked Joe Biden like she did in the Republican Convention, but I don't think it held up with the general public like it did to the Republicans at the convention.

The thing that bothered me most about Sarah Palin was how she tried to flirt with the audience with a wink and an nod. Not just once, but three separate times by my count. Not very professional in my opinion.

A Foxnews text message poll after the debate made Sarah Palin the winner of the debate by a 86-12 margin. A CNNnews poll of undecided voters on the other hand made Joe Biden the winner by a 53-36 margin. I have to agree with the CNN poll.

The next presidential debate will be held next Tuesday evening. The election is a month from tomorrow.
