Friday was a beautiful day in SoCal, clear and in the high 90's. You wouldn't know it rained just two days ago and was in the mid-60's. I went for a bike ride at Puddingstone Lake. I rode a total of 25 miles and had a great time.

The only evidence of the rain at the lake was a couple new mud puddles at the west end of the airport. I almost ran over a squirrel. It was a large gray squirrel that chose to take a nap right in the middle of the trail. He was laid out flat on his stomach. At the very last second the squirrel realized he was in trouble and fled the trail in a huff.

Friday evening Karen and I went to the Colony H.S. football game against Ontario H.S. The game was a blowout with Colony ahead 35-0 at the half. The final score was 55-10!!

It's breast cancer awareness month. The Colony football players were wearing pink socks and the coaches pink polo shirts. There were signs all over the stadium announcing the event including the one bellow which reads "support breast cancer."

It was also Colony's home coming game. Jenine was crowned Home Coming Queen for 2010!!
