As an evening weather update, we ended up getting a sun shower at about dinner time that produced an incredible rainbow. It was so close to the house, I couldn't get it all in one shot.

Then it turned into a double rainbow that was really cool. Around 8:30 we had a thunder storm go over the house with lots of lightning, some like the photos below, and thunder. I'm such a sucker for thunder and lightning that I took our rocking chair out onto the porch to watch. We want to move to a Florida beach condo when Karen retires and this will be our entertainment on many an day.
