Wanna feel old???

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Catherine Ross who turned 71 years old on Saturday!!!Catherine Juliet Ross was born in Hollywood, California. She started her acting career with small roles on television series such as "The Virginian" and "Gunsmoke."

In 1967 she played "Elaine", Dustin Hoffman's girlfriend in the movie "The Graduate." I remember going to see that movie at the Fox Theater in Pomona. Katherine received an Oscar nomination and Golden Globe for "most promising female newcomer."

In 1969 Catherine played "Etta Place" in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" with Robert Redford and Paul Newman. More recently she starred in "The Stepford Wives" and won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress for her performance in "Voyage of the Damned" in 1977.

I was surprised to learn that she is married to actor Sam Elliott and they have a daughter together. She is also an author, having written several children's books.
