Happy Birthday wishes go out to Henry "Erik" Enrique Estrada, aka "Ponch" from the TV series CHiPS, who turns 64 years old today. Estrada was born in the "Harlem" area of New York City and is of Puerto Rican decent.  Estrada is married to his third wife, Nanette Mirkovich and they have one daughter together.  Estrada also has two sons from previous marriages.

 

Estrada is probably best known for his role as "Ponch" on CHiPS. The CHiPS series ran for six seasons and totaled 139 episodes.  Estrada apparently did a lot of his own motorcycle riding in the series and once crashed and broke both writst and fractured several ribs.
