Karen and I are in Phoenix for the weekend to take in a couple of spring training baseball games. We also picked up a couple of tickets for the Phoenix Coyotes hockey game Thursday evening. We made the drive to Phoenix in about 5 hours, stopping at the Starbucks in Blythe and for gas over the border in Arizona.
This is the front entrance of Jobing.com arena, the home of the Phoenix Coyotes. The arena is about 7 miles from our motel.
It looks a lot like the area around the Staple Center here.
It was a good game with the Vancouver coming out on top 2-1. I believe there were as many Vancouver fans here as Phoenix fans.
