Happy Birthday wishes go out to Loretta Jane Swit, aka Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houilihan, who turns 76 years young today.  Loretta was married to actor Dennis Holahan, who she met on the set of M*A*S*H, for twelve years and has no children.

Loretta started her career appearing on Broadway and recently toured with "The Vagina Monologues." She also made appearances in such sitcoms as "The Love Boat" and "Gunsmoke."

Loretta is best known for her portrayal of Army Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houilihan in the popular series M*A*S*H. Loretta was on M*A*S*H the entire 11 years and in all but 11 of the 251 episodes. 

Loretta has written a book entitled "A Needlepoint Scrapbook." And most interesting, Loretta is a big Miss Pacman fan and owns her own machine.
