Karen and I made it home from Las Vegas this afternoon about 2:00 pm. We had a great time.  I won a few bucks on a slot machine with a Rolling Stones theme, but gave it all back later.

I wrote this poem while Karen was driving us there on Saturday.

Sin City

Runnin' off to Vegas, my sweetie by my side,
Headin' to "Sin City",
With Gretchen as my guide.

Gretchen is my GPS, Karen is my girl,
Headin' to "Sin City",
To give my luck a whirl.

Karen plays with pennies, quarters are my bet,
Headin' to "Sin City",
No we're not there yet.

Cruising across the desert, nothing much to see,
Headin' to "Sin City",
Should be there by three.

Crossin' State Line, passing Pete's, be there in a jiffy,
Headin' to "Sin City",
Man it's gonna be spiffy.

The Vegas skyline is just ahead, what a pretty sight,
Made it to "Sin City",
Gretchen you were right.
