I haven't always seen eye to eye with the judges at fanstory.com. They've thrown a couple of my submissions out of contests because they didn't fit their strict rules. So today's writing prompt is to write a short poem that is no more than eight lines and the first word starts with my first initial and the last word starts with my last initial. Here is my entry:

Judge This!!

Keep it short, eight lines, no more.

Break their rules, the judges roar.

Toss your work into the trash,

Really sets my teeth to gnash.

Bare your heart, put pen to paper,

Break the rules it turns to vapor.

Speak your mind to no avail,

Toe the line or you will fail.
