Happy Birthday Cheryl Ladd

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Cheryl Ladd who turned 57 years old on Saturday. Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor was born in Huron, South Dakota, and took the name Ladd after marrying her first husband, David Ladd. Cheryl has been married to record producer Brian Russell since 1981 and has one step-daughter, Brenda Russell, an aspiring musician.

Cheryl Ladd recently played the role of Jullian DeLine, the wife of the main character Ed DeLine (James Caan), in the series "Las Vegas" from 2003 to 2008.

Cheryl is apparently a woman of many talents. Cheryl sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl XIV in the Rose Bowl in 1980 and has played the role of Annie Oakley in the musical "Annie Get Your Gun" on Broadway.

Cheryl is an avid golfer and wrote a book called "Token Chick - A Woman's Guide to Golfing with the boys." How do I get to golf with Cheryl Ladd, Catherine Zita Jones and Heather Locklear?? Of course I don't golf, so that could be a minor stumbling block!!!

But for my money, Cheryl Ladd is best known for her role as Kris Monroe in the hit series "Charlie's Angels" which ran from 1977 to 1981. Cheryl replaced Farrah Fawcett after the first year of the series, and yes she did ofter appear in the series in nothing more that the skimpy bikini shown below.

So Happy Birthday cheryl Ladd and thanks for the memories.
