To our surprise, the concert started out with a 30 minute stand-up comedy routine by Melissa Peterman, better known at Barbara Jean on the TV series "Reba." She was very funny and returned later in the show when Reba sang the theme song for the series.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Melissa Peterman celebrated her 37th birthday on July 1st. Melissa Margaret Peterman was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is married and has one son. So, belated Happy Birthday Melissa!!!
