Monday evening, as Karen and I walked to our car, I looked up and saw two bright lights near the moon. I mentioned to Karen that the two lights must be satellites as they aren't' moving.
Later that evening I spotted a news report on MSNBC about the lights near the moon being the planets Venus and Jupiter. This is a photo I found on the Internet taken from somewhere else in the world, but gives you the idea of what I saw.
In our case, the two planets were much closer together and closer to the moon. The two planets were also at the "5 o'clock" position to the moon. I haven't seen any local photos on the Internet yet. I will post them when I find them.
